CNG 90-500 I

DESCRIPTION
Single stage CNG pressure regulator, diaphragm-regulation, characterized by very high flow capacity

USE
Device on purpose designed to feed large engines with electronic injection system (through gas injectors)

MAIN FEATURES
Inlet gas pressure: max 260 bar = 26 MPa = 3700 psi
Outlet gas pressure: typical value 75 kPa = 0.75 bar = 11 psi
Temperature approval range: - 40C +120 C
Gas flow: max 150 nm3 / h suitable for engines of power up to 370 kW = 500 HP
Temperature approval range: - 40C +120 C

MATERIALS
Cylindrical main disks and covers are made by die-cast aluminum, inlet body is brass made, inlet fittings are made by stainless steel, external black plugs and accessories by composite material

SHAPE, DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT
Regulator of roughly cylindrical shape,
Diameter of aluminum disks: 160 mm = 6.3 in
Thickness of aluminum disks and covers: 80 mm = 3.15 in
Weight: 3.30 kg = 7.3 lb

HEATING CIRCUIT
Device equipped with a very large heat exchange surface so that heat supply will be enough even in critical situation i.e. at very high gas flow and high CNG tank pressure, its moreover possible choose between three different heating circuits: long, medium, short, in order to adapt in the best way this regulator to the power of each converted engine

SAFETY TECHNIQUE
Device equipped with safety relief valve to discharge directly to the engine any overpressure.
Inlet and outlet fittings
Inlet: thread G 1/2
Outlet: hose-holder suitable for rubber hose I.D. 16 mm (= 1 in)

ACCESSOIRES AND FITTINGS
Main filter incorporated into inlet brass body, to replace this filter is enough unscrew the inlet stainless steel fittings.
Special stainless steel inlet connector is suitable to join a solenoid lock-off valve directly to the high pressure inlet.
Special fittings can be designed on demand.

APPROVALS
Pursuant to ECE/UN Regulation n. 110
